People: Our Partners & Supporters Volunteers
Volunteers are the lifeblood of New Eyes for the Needy.

Their energy and enthusiasm fuel the recycling program that provides eyeglasses overseas. They operate the jewelry and giftware showroom that helps pay for eyeglasses for needy Americans. And they support our staff so that New Eyes' resources are dedicated to services rather than payroll.
New Eyes for the Needy

New Eyes is blessed with over 150 adult and 75 student volunteers. In addition, many civic, corporate and religious groups come to New Eyes to sort and test glasses.

Our volunteers are a diverse group: retirees, homemakers, and students; individuals and groups; volunteers who come for one day or 50 years.

Yet each volunteer shares a genuine commitment to helping the less fortunate have a clearer and brighter future.

New volunteers are always welcome and appreciated. Click here to learn more about joining our group of dedicated volunteers.
