How Our Vision Impacts People

"My client is a young unemployed woman who decided to go back to school, but her vision had changed to the point that she could no longer read. She did not have money for the glasses. Because of the New Eyes program, she was able to get the glasses she needed and will be able to continue classes. We have such a problem with unemployment and no education here (in Kentucky) that when someone is working hard to better themselves and their family, it was wonderful to be able to help her."
