How Our Vision Impacts People

"Monica does not work, because she takes care of her five children, one of whom is very ill and cannot be left. Her husband is a self-employed painter and provides barely enough for his family's rent and food, leaving no money left over for the eyeglasses Monica desperately needs. Medicaid covers her children, but she is ineligible for any benefits."
