Individual Applicants Must Work through Agencies to Submit Voucher Application

New Eyes is no longer accepting individual applications to the voucher program.

Those is need of assistance in obtaining eyeglasses should work with a social service agency, case worker, social worker or school nurse (in the case of a student) to obtain a voucher application. Agencies may download and print an Agency Application to complete with their clients.

Walmart Vision Centers

Most Walmart Vision Centers are now providing eyeglasses to New Eyes' clients. In April 2005, New Eyes entered into an agreement with the more than 2,000 corporate-owned Walmart Vision Centers to provide a basic pair of eyeglasses to clients who have received a New Eyes voucher.

There are some Walmart Vision Centers that may be unsure of the procedures to follow to receive reimbursement. If your client is having difficulty obtaining his or her eyeglasses at a Walmart store, please contact New Eyes at 973-376-4903.

How Our Vision Impacts People

"Thank you VERY MUCH! I can see to thread a needle now! Which is important to me, because I sew for a good while every day. It is also much easier to read, especially my Bible, which I also do every day. This is a wonderfl program, and I hope you are able to keep it up! I definitely could not have gotten new glasses any other way."
